Francisco Aquino Júnior tem-se mostrado um pesquisador de fôlego no campo da Teologia da Libertação: dialoga e problematiza, em elevado estilo, os grandes desafios atuais da Teologia da Libertação.
Neste vídeo atém-se - ao meu ver, de modo inovador e fecundo - à importância do lugar social na produção teológica e suas implicações concretas.
De sua reflexão, ouso destacar:
- sua clareza conceitual decorre tanto da boa fonte em que bebe (Ellacuría, principalmente, mas também Jon Sobrino e outros) como de sua feliz incursão inter/transdiciplinar;
- seu próprio lugar social de compromisso com a causa libertadora dos pobres como expressão atualizada do Seguimento de Jesus.

Fr. Francisco de Aquino Junior is a young theologian, from Ceará, in the Northeastern Brazil. He is a creative researcher on the field of Liberation Theology: he dialogues and discusses, in high style, on the main challenges of Liberation Theology, in Latin America.
In this video he presents - in my view - a creative and fruitful reflection concerning the importance of the "social place" as a determining element in the process of either academical or theological production, with different implications.
In his reflection, I dare to underline:
- his conceptual clarity, due to the source in which he takes inspiration (I. Ellacuría, mostly, but also Jon Sobrino and others) and to his creative inter / transdisciplinary approach;
- his own "social place" of commitment to the liberating cause of the poor as an expression of the updated Jesus Movement.
