Some exciting news!
Some 70 women theologians, including Sister Madeleine OP from Stockholm, have been invited to participate in a one-day theological seminar at the Pontifical University Antonianum on 28 April 2015.
The seminar has its origin in response to a list of feminist theologians, which Ulla Gudmundson handed over to the Pope in 2013, when she resigned his position as Sweden's Ambassador to the Holy See.
The list has been developed by Ulla Gudmundson, Tina Beattie and Sr. Madeleine. The initiator of the seminar is Antonianums female president Sr. Mary Melone in cooperation with the Chilean ambassador.
It is noticeable that everyone who is on the list advocates women priests and argues for an entirely different anthropology than that which currently applies within the Catholic Church.
Where will this lead? Perhaps it is better not to speculate but significant it is.
