Lay Catholics' Proposals For "A Church We Could Become"

Catholics from three Dioceses around London - Brentwood, Southwark and Westminster - have met regularly over the past three years as part of the Roman Catholic Church's global Synod process of reform and renewal.

They have submitted a document outlining proposals for a more participatory Church to the Vatican's Synod Office and to the Catholic Bishops Conference of England & Wales, as well as to the Bishops of the three dioceses. It is also offered for consideration by some of the 10 Synod Study Groups appointed by the late Pope Francis to deal with some of the hot-button issues which have emerged from the ground-breaking consultation with Catholics worldwide.

The Vatican's Synod Office has responded, saying:  Keep continue walking even though, time to time, the way seems to be difficult.
